Aave community weighs shutting down low-profit multichain services
December 03, 2025, 12:48 AM
The community of crypto lending protocol Aave (AAVE) is discussing a proposal to terminate its services on less profitable multichain networks, The Block reported. The plan suggests ending support for networks with low revenue, such as zkSync, Metis, and Soneium, while continuing to support only those that generate at least $2 million in annual revenue. The proposal is currently in a preliminary discussion phase, known as a temperature check, and has received 100% approval in a Snapshot vote.
