Ethereum Foundation reports issues with Prysm client
December 04, 2025, 6:37 AM
The Ethereum Foundation has announced via its official X account that it is addressing ongoing issues with the Prysm consensus client on the mainnet. The foundation advised users running the client to reconfigure their consensus layer (CL) nodes according to guidance from the Prysm team.
This development comes as Ethereum core developers completed the deployment of the Fusaka upgrade on the mainnet earlier today. The Ethereum Foundation plans to conduct hard forks twice a year, beginning with Fusaka. The upgrade is expected to increase mainnet capacity and improve validator efficiency. The Layer 1 gas limit per block will be raised to 60 million, which is projected to boost transaction throughput, reduce fee burdens, and approximately double transaction processing capacity over the next year.
