BlackRock CEO: Traditional finance now recognizing value of tokenization
December 04, 2025, 8:20 AM
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and COO Rob Goldstein wrote in an op-ed for The Economist that the traditional finance industry is beginning to recognize the true value of tokenization, The Daily Hodl reported. They argued that the technology's value, once overshadowed by speculation and the crypto boom narrative, is now being re-evaluated as a cornerstone of financial infrastructure innovation. Fink and Goldstein described tokenization as a process that records diverse assets—including stocks, bonds, real estate, and corporate debt—on a single digital ledger, making them instantly verifiable. They also emphasized that the technology could expand access for retail investors to markets traditionally accessible only to large institutions.
