UAE insurer Dubai Insurance launches crypto wallet for premium payments

UAE-based Dubai Insurance has launched a digital wallet that allows for premium payments and claim settlements in cryptocurrency, Cointelegraph reported. The wallet is built on institutional custody infrastructure from Zodia Custody. The company described the offering as the first of its kind in the UAE insurance industry to operate within the local regulatory and compliance framework. However, details regarding supported assets and the scope of product availability have not yet been released.
