CME FedWatch shows 97.2% chance of Fed holding rates in January

Traders are pricing in a 97.2% probability that the U.S. Federal Reserve will keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at its January FOMC meeting, according to the CME FedWatch Tool. The likelihood of a 25 basis point cut stands at 2.8%.
