Vitalik Buterin donates to support Zcash Crosslink development

Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has reportedly donated to Shielded Labs to support the development of Crosslink, a proposed upgrade to the Zcash (ZEC) consensus structure. The proposal involves adding a parallel finality layer on top of Zcash's existing Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism. Shielded Labs explained that the introduction of Crosslink aims to reduce the risk of chain reorganizations and rollbacks while strengthening settlement assurances for confirmed transactions.
