Polymarket and Kaito to launch 'Attention Markets' for betting on trends

Decentralized prediction market Polymarket is partnering with AI-powered Web3 information platform Kaito to launch Attention Markets, which will allow users to bet on trends and public opinion, Forbes reported. The new markets will be based on "mindshare," a measure of how frequently a topic is mentioned, and "sentiment," or public opinion, derived from Kaito's real-time analysis of social media data. The launch is scheduled for early March and will initially focus on AI-related topics.
