Tether invests in marketplace Whop to integrate USDT payments

Tether Investments, the investment arm of the world's largest stablecoin issuer, announced a strategic equity investment in the online marketplace Whop on Feb. 25. According to The Block, the investment will enable Whop to integrate stablecoin payments using Tether's Wallet Development Kit (WDK). This will allow creators and users on the platform to settle transactions in stablecoins such as USDT and USAT. Whop reportedly has around 20 million users worldwide.
