They added that they want to propose this legislation separately from the broader cryptocurrency regulations scheduled to take effect on July 1. Meanwhile, Alexei Yakovlev, Director of the Financial Policy Department at the ministry, stressed that stablecoins hold immense and even astronomical potential.
