US federal court dismisses terror financing lawsuit against Binance

A U.S. federal court in Alabama has dismissed a civil lawsuit accusing the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, and its founder Changpeng Zhao of aiding terrorism, BeInCrypto reported. The ruling follows a similar decision previously made by a New York court. Binance stated that the court acknowledged the claims regarding sanctions violations and terror financing raised in the lawsuit lacked a sufficient legal and factual basis.
