Citing The Wall Street Journal, the outlet noted that both nations have adopted a more active stance since allowing the U.S. military to use airbases within their territories. A decision by Saudi Arabia to intervene is now just a matter of time, according to a source. However, the report added that the Gulf states have not yet launched a direct attack on Iran, as their leaders are extremely concerned about triggering a larger, uncontrollable war.
