Trump says Iran war will end soon

He claimed that Iran had blockaded the strait for 31 days, causing a surge in global energy prices, and suggested that other nations using the waterway could reopen it themselves. Trump added that the U.S. would not remain in the region for long and is currently inflicting severe damage on Iranian forces. When asked about a Wall Street Journal report suggesting he might end the war without ensuring the strait was reopened, Trump stated that his sole mission is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He reiterated his belief that the strait would open automatically once the U.S. withdraws.
