Telegram CEO says TON blockchain upgrade boosts processing speed 10-fold

Telegram CEO Pavel Durov announced via X that the company has completed an upgrade to the TON blockchain, making it 10 times faster. He added that block creation speed is now six times faster, and transaction processing time has been cut to under one second. The next step, Durov said, will be to reduce the already low transaction fees by an additional six times.
