Russian ministry denies plans to ban crypto mining in Moscow

Russia's Ministry of Energy has stated it has no plans to ban cryptocurrency mining in Moscow and its surrounding areas, DL News reported. The ministry clarified that Moscow authorities have not yet officially requested such a ban. It added that an official request from the governor is required to prohibit mining, a procedure that has not been initiated.
