Rising gasoline prices drove nearly three-quarters of March CPI gain

Nearly three-quarters of the increase in the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) was driven by rising gasoline prices. The March CPI rose 3.3% year-over-year and 0.9% from the previous month.
