UK Liberal Democrats call for probe into Nigel Farage's Bitcoin promotion

The UK's Liberal Democrats have called on the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to investigate Reform UK leader Nigel Farage over his promotional activities for Bitcoin, Cointelegraph reported. The party raised concerns about Farage appearing in a promotional video for Stack BTC, a Bitcoin-hoarding company listed on the London Stock Exchange, while simultaneously holding a stake in the firm. Farage has previously taken a pro-crypto stance, stating he would accept political donations in cryptocurrency, and has invested approximately £260,000 in Stack BTC.
