Rhea Finance hacked for $18.4M

DeFi protocol Rhea Finance has announced it was hacked for a total of $18.4 million in assets, more than double the $7.6 million initially reported. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the protocol's slippage protection mechanism to drain the funds from its reserve pool, resulting in substantial losses that include user assets. Rhea Finance stated it plans to use its protocol reserves and team operating funds to facilitate recovery and provide support to those affected.
