US Treasury sanctions Cambodian senator over crypto fraud network

The U.S. Treasury Department has added Cambodian senator Kok An and 28 associated entities to its sanctions list for allegedly operating a crypto fraud network. According to Decrypt, the Treasury stated that Kok An, a central figure in a large-scale crypto fraud case, has been accused of running a major crypto criminal organization through his network of resorts and casinos.
