South Korean FIU appeals court ruling in favor of Dunamu
April 30, 2026, 5:11 AM
South Korea's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has appealed a lower court's decision to overturn a partial business suspension it had imposed on Dunamu, Yonhap News reported. The FIU, which operates under the Financial Services Commission, filed the appeal with the Seoul Administrative Court this morning. The legal dispute began in February 2025, when the FIU ordered a three-month partial suspension of Dunamu's operations, citing violations of the Act on Reporting and Using Specified Financial Transaction Information by the company and its employees. The case will now proceed to an appellate court.
