April crypto hacking losses total $651M

Hacking incidents in the cryptocurrency market resulted in approximately $651 million in losses during April, according to Web3 security firm CertiK. This figure represents the largest monthly loss since March 2022, when damages totaled around $715 million. Excluding February 2025, which was marked by a major exchange incident, this is the highest recent total.
