Ark Invest predicts Bitcoin market cap will be 10x higher by 2030

Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, has made a bold prediction in its annual 'Big Ideas' report, forecasting that Bitcoin's market capitalization will reach $16 trillion by 2030. This represents a more than 10-fold increase from its current level of around $1.5 trillion, implying a compound annual growth rate of 63%. The report identifies the full-scale entry of institutional investors as the key driver for this growth. It analyzes that the launch of spot ETFs, inclusion in corporate treasuries, and adoption as a national reserve asset will accelerate, firmly establishing Bitcoin as a new institutional asset class. Specifically, the report estimates that if Bitcoin captures 40% of the total gold market's value as 'digital gold,' this scenario alone could add approximately $10 trillion to its market cap. In this process, Ark Invest projects that the price per BTC will surpass $730,000, with the total cryptocurrency market size expanding to $28 trillion.
