Switzerland says it is ready to host US-Iran talks

Switzerland is prepared to host negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict between the United States and Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Melanie Gögelmann said today. The statement follows earlier discussions that named Geneva as a potential venue for follow-up talks after the two nations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). Gögelmann added that Switzerland is always ready to serve as a mediator, is willing to support any diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting peace, and is maintaining contact with all relevant parties to the conflict.
