Bhutan special zone to fast-track licenses for crypto firms approved in Singapore, Hong Kong

Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), a special administrative region in Bhutan, has introduced a fast-track licensing system for crypto and fintech companies licensed in major financial hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Abu Dhabi, Cointelegraph reported. Eligible companies can utilize an integrated process that covers local incorporation, regulatory approval, and the opening of a corporate bank account. This system is linked with GMC's official partner, DK Bank. However, DK Bank will continue to conduct its standard Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) reviews.
