ETH/BTC ratio hits 10-month low
May 12, 2026, 10:41 AM
The ETH/BTC ratio, which measures the value of ETH against BTC, has fallen to a 10-month low, CoinDesk reported. The ratio currently stands at 0.02835, a decline of more than 35% from its peak last August. The ETH/BTC ratio is considered a key indicator of market risk appetite, with a rising value suggesting that investors are moving capital into ETH and other higher-risk cryptocurrencies. The ratio is trading significantly below its 200-week moving average, indicating that ETH remains in a long-term bearish phase relative to BTC.
