US senators propose amendments to restrict crypto payments, Fed accounts

According to Eleanor Terrett, host of Crypto in America, U.S. Senator Jack Reed has submitted an amendment that would prohibit the use of cryptocurrency for payments such as taxes. Meanwhile, Senator Elizabeth Warren has also submitted over 40 crypto-related amendments, one of which would bar the Federal Reserve from issuing master accounts to crypto firms.
