Analyst: BTC could rise to $90K if it holds $76K support

May 15, 2026, 6:20 PM
Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe said on X that Bitcoin is showing its first bearish signal today. He noted that Bitcoin's upward momentum is weakening amid a correction in the Nasdaq and as the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield rises above 4.50%. According to the analyst, if the $76,000 support level holds, the door remains open for a further rally to around $90,000, the location of the 50-week moving average. However, he added that if this support level breaks, short-term downward pressure could intensify.
