Naver Pay establishes Japan unit, eyes overseas crypto launch

Naver's financial affiliate, Naver Financial, has established its first overseas subsidiary in Japan, SBS Biz reported. The outlet noted that as Naver is also pursuing a merger with Dunamu through Naver Financial, it could potentially launch a service combining simple payments and virtual assets in Japan and other overseas markets in the future.
