The U.S. Senate is expected to resume discussions on the Clarity Act this week as it reconvenes after the Memorial Day holiday, Cointelegraph reported. The Democratic Party has stated it will not support the bill unless it includes provisions to prevent conflicts of interest for public officials. JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon has also expressed opposition to some of the bill's provisions. Industry observers are watching for a possible Senate vote on the legislation around August.
