Cardano founder plans to move community from X to Discord

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano (ADA), announced he is pushing forward with a plan to move the Cardano community from X to Discord.
Hoskinson stated on X that he has discussed the initiative with EMURGO CEO Phillip Pon to create a Discord channel for a major migration of the community. He said the goal is to operate a well-managed channel for practical conversation and progress, leaving behind what he described as unproductive drama, falsehoods, and endless anger.
While Hoskinson, who has one million followers on X, will continue to hold live broadcasts on the platform, he added that "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) questions will only be accepted from the new Cardano and existing Midnight Discord channels. He emphasized that broadcasting does not signify his return to X, stating that substantive work is being done elsewhere.
Hoskinson's announcement follows a sharp drop in ADA's price after he declared he was taking a break earlier this month. The token is currently trading at $0.1704, up 5.9% over the past 24 hours.
