Iran reveals details of 14-point draft understanding with US

According to Nader Itayim, an energy journalist at Argus Media, Iran's Mehr News Agency has published details of a 14-point draft memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran. The information reportedly comes from a source close to the Iranian negotiating team. Key provisions include:
- A permanent and immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon.
- A U.S. commitment to non-interference in Iran's internal affairs and respect for its sovereignty.
- The complete lifting of the maritime blockade within 30 days.
- A U.S. pledge to withdraw its military forces from regions surrounding Iran.
- The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian leadership within 30 days.
- A suspension of sanctions on the sale of Iranian oil, petrochemicals, and their derivatives, allowing Iran full access to its financial resources.
- The presentation of a reconstruction plan for Iran by the U.S. and its allies valued at a minimum of $300 billion.
- The start of 60-day negotiations for a final nuclear agreement, coupled with the complete lifting of U.S. primary and secondary sanctions and related resolutions from the UN Security Council and the IAEA Board of Governors.
- The release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the 60-day negotiation period, with half to be provided to Iran before talks commence.
