Chainlink launches 'APAC Equities Streams' with Samsung, SK Hynix data

Decentralized oracle platform Chainlink (LINK) has launched "APAC Equities Streams," a service that provides on-chain stock price data for major companies in the Asia-Pacific region. The service will initially support the South Korean and Japanese stock markets, including companies like Samsung, SK Hynix, Toyota, Sony, and SoftBank. Developers can use this data to build on-chain markets for stock perpetual futures, spot trading, prediction markets, and structured products. Chainlink also plans to add support for stock markets in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in the near future.
