Aave founder denies rumor of discounted token sale to Kraken

Aave founder Stani Kulechov has refuted rumors that the project is selling its tokens to Kraken at a 70% discount amid speculation about a potential acquisition. The statement follows a CoinDesk report that Kraken was in negotiations to acquire an approximately 15% stake in Aave for $385 million. While Kulechov acknowledged that discussions with an external institution had taken place, he asserted that the rumor of a discounted sale was false. He also unveiled plans to introduce Aavenomics 3.0, which will automate up to $50 million in annual token buybacks.
