Plume joins SBI-led tokenized listed-equity strategy project in Japan

RWA-focused blockchain project Plume (PLUME) said on its official X account that it will join as an ecosystem partner in a tokenization project for Japanese stock market listed-equity investment strategies led by SBI Global Asset Management, a unit of major Japanese financial group SBI. Plume said, "7.8 trillion-dollar Japan capital market is moving on-chain." It added that SBI and the Solana Foundation are building a platform in Japan for financial products linked to local equities, Singapore-based RWA platform DigiFT will provide a regulatory-compliant tokenization layer, and Plume will participate as an ecosystem partner. Plume also said the world’s fourth-largest economy is embracing tokenization.
