BTC whale that accumulated for 6 years moves $52.2M in BTC to Cumberland

A whale wallet that had steadily accumulated Bitcoin over the past six years transferred 800 BTC, worth about $52.2 million, to crypto market maker and OTC trading platform Cumberland about one hour ago, according to Onchain Lens. Deposits to trading venues are typically interpreted as potential selling activity. Onchain Lens said the whale externally moved a total of 2,000 BTC worth about $130 million today, including the transfer to Cumberland and another 1,200 BTC, worth about $78.3 million, to a new address.
