Wanchain Cardano-BNB bridge hacked, about $10M in NIGHT drained

About 515 million NIGHT, worth roughly $10 million, was drained after Wanchain’s Cardano- BNB Chain bridge was exposed to a hacking attack, blockchain security firm BlockSec said. The Midnight Foundation said the incident was limited to the Wanchain-based Cardano-BNB Chain bridge and was unrelated to the Midnight network itself. Following the hack overnight, NIGHT fell about 30%. According to CoinMarketCap, NIGHT was recently trading at $0.01942, down 27.08%.
