U.S. Congress holds bipartisan talks on ethics provisions in Clarity Act

Bipartisan talks are underway in the U.S. Congress over ethics provisions in the Clarity Act, a crypto market structure bill, Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett said on X. Negotiators are also discussing DeFi-related provisions, but the main sticking point at this stage is the ethics language. A spokesperson for Sen. Cynthia Lummis said discussions with the White House last week went smoothly and that a draft of the ethics provisions, due to be released in the coming days, will reflect those productive talks.
