Samsung Electronics signals stablecoin support for Samsung Wallet

Samsung Electronics has unveiled plans to support stablecoins on Samsung Wallet, its app-based wallet platform. According to Digital Asset, the company outlined Samsung Wallet’s future expansion at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event and said it will support new forms of digital value, including stablecoins, beyond cash and savings services. The plan is to connect payments, rewards and digital assets in a single platform and expand Samsung Wallet into a core platform for the Galaxy financial ecosystem.
