The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents millions of Hispanic-owned businesses across the U.S., has told the Senate it opposes the Clarity Act, according to Crypto in America host Eleanor Terrett.
In a letter sent to Senate leadership this week, the group said it shares regional banks' concerns that the bill could accelerate deposit outflows. The USHCC argued the measure would reduce lending to Hispanic small businesses and curb investment in underserved communities.
