Revolut user sends $5K in BTC to Satoshi address

A user of crypto neobank Revolut transferred about $5,000 worth of Bitcoin to a Satoshi Nakamoto address. According to Arkham data, the user sent multiple small transfers to the Satoshi Nakamoto address through a shared Revolut hot wallet, followed by a final transfer of 0.033 BTC, or about $2,170. U.Today said sending funds to a Satoshi Nakamoto address is effectively the same as burning the money, and described the transaction as likely symbolic, aimed at drawing attention, or simply a mistake.
