Coinbase to support AI agent payments for business clients

Coinbase announced support for its own AI agent payments service for business clients. According to CoinDesk, users of Coinbase Business, the exchange’s platform for corporate customers, can receive payments from AI agents through the x402 protocol developed and backed by Coinbase. The company said the Coinbase Payments feature allows AI agents to pay in USDC without additional setup.
