Hyperliquid burned $7.7M in HYPE over the past seven days

Decentralized perpetual futures exchange Hyperliquid burned 130,870 HYPE worth about $7.65 million after buybacks over the past seven days, according to an analysis by Onchain Lens. The average buyback price was $58.45 per HYPE. The burn permanently removed 130,870 HYPE from circulation. CoinMarketCap data showed HYPE was trading at $58.4, down 1.21%, at the time of writing.
