U.S. Central Command had carried out near-daily airstrikes on Iran for about two weeks, but it did not announce any attacks on Iran on the night of July 24, CNN reported. For the previous 13 consecutive days, Central Command had said on social media it was striking military targets inside Iran. No such notice was issued on the night of July 24 Eastern Time, although it remains unconfirmed whether that means no military operation actually took place.
