BNY Mellon, BitPay join MiCA license list as total reaches 309

According to an updated registration dataset from the European Securities and Markets Authority, cryptocurrency asset service providers including BNY Mellon’s Belgian unit and BitPay have newly secured formal EU licenses under the Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation. The addition brings the total number of officially licensed CASPs in the EU to 309.
