Emirates adds crypto payments via Crypto.com Pay for UAE residents only

Emirates said on X it has introduced cryptocurrency payments through Crypto.com Pay. The service is limited to residents of the United Arab Emirates and applies only to tickets settled in UAE dirhams. Customers pay through the Crypto.com wallet, but the airline does not directly receive cryptocurrency. Instead, payments are settled in dirhams or in an approved dirham-linked stablecoin under UAE central bank rules.
