CES organizer urges Senate floor action on CLARITY Act

The Consumer Technology Association, the U.S. trade group that organizes CES, sent a letter to Senate Republican Leader John Thune and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer urging the Senate to bring the CLARITY Act to the floor for debate, according to Cointelegraph. In the letter, the association said years of bipartisan negotiations and stakeholder engagement had created an opportunity for Congress to establish clear rules for blockchain and digital asset technology, and added that the Senate should follow the same process after the House had already passed the bill with bipartisan support.
