Solana applies mainnet governance proposal to raise block compute unit limit

Solana announced on X that SIMD-0286, a governance proposal to raise the block compute unit limit from 60 million CU to 100 million CU, has been applied to mainnet. The higher block computing limit is expected to improve transaction throughput and performance.
