CoinDesk: Ondo Finance weighs acquisitions worth up to $500M

Ondo Finance is considering a potential corporate acquisition worth as much as $500 million, CoinDesk reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. Amid rising merger-and-acquisition activity in the crypto infrastructure market, Ondo is reviewing expansion opportunities through deals and is examining targets valued between $250 million and $500 million, according to the report. CoinDesk said the matter remains private and Ondo has not yet appointed a formal adviser. The company is considering wealthtech firms among potential targets. In response to CoinDesk's inquiry, Ondo said as a fast-growing company, it continuously evaluates the market as part of its normal business operations and is not currently in talks with any party.
