Coldcard warns of seed-generation flaw in Mk3 wallets, urges immediate fund transfers

Hardware wallet maker Coinkite warned users that wallets generated on its Coldcard Mk3 devices running firmware versions 4.0.1 through 5.0.3 could expose assets to risk because of a seed-generation vulnerability, and recommended immediately moving funds to new wallets. The warning came as an investigation continues into the recent theft of a combined 594 BTC from hundreds of single-signature wallets, according to Wu Blockchain.
