Crypto fundraising jumps to $2.2B in July, RootData says

Crypto fundraising reached $2.235 billion in July, up 148.9% from $889 million in June, according to RootData. A total of 46 funding deals were recorded during the month. By sector, centralized finance, or CeFi, drew the most capital with nine deals worth $1.23 billion, followed by infrastructure with 12 deals totaling $413 million. DeFi logged 11 deals, but the total amount raised was limited to $34.25 million.
