Ethereum staking ratio hits record 34%

Ethereum staking has climbed to a record 41.4 million ETH, raising the risk of tighter market liquidity and sharper price volatility, AMBCrypto reported, citing ValidatorQueue data. About 34% of Ethereum’s total supply is now staked, and more than 1.4 million ETH has been added to staking over the past week alone. The Ethereum Foundation is currently pursuing a plan to cap the staking share at 50%, under which rewards would no longer be paid once the staking ratio rises above 50%.
